Presiding Member’s Greeting

Welcome to Faith City School, Whanganui, New Zealand

At Faith City School, we are more than a place of learning. We are a community shaped by faith, connection, and purpose. Together with Faith City Church, we create an environment where children are supported, valued, and inspired to grow in every area of their lives.

Our school community reflects a rich diversity of multicultural families. We value and celebrate the different cultures, languages, and backgrounds represented within our school, recognising that each contributes to a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. United in Christ, we learn and grow together with a shared sense of purpose and belonging.

At the heart of Faith City School are our core values of Faith, Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence in Learning. These values shape our teaching and guide our relationships, encouraging students to develop strong character, a love of learning, and a commitment to living out their faith in practical ways.

Faith City School was founded by Faith Community Church (now Faith City Church, the proprietor of the school). As a state-integrated school, this partnership is central to our identity, with the Church providing ongoing spiritual oversight, leadership, and support.

We believe that true education goes beyond the classroom. At Faith City, students are encouraged to know God, understand His word, and apply it in practical ways as they grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
